I want height adjustable seats in my 924S. Would power seats from a 944 or 911 be a drop in fit?

Yes, but of course you have to solve the wiring. My dad swapped in later electrical seats in his 79 na.

The wiring should be simple enough - power and ground. I was more concerned if it is a drop fit [no welding or cutting]

I can double check with him, but I am 99% sure it was drop in.

A few years back, I grabbed a pair of 944 seats, one powered, one manual, both from the same donor car, I believe. Both dropped right in, fit like a glove.

I pulled seats out of an '85.5 944, one was power, same fit as the 925 seats... I have the power cables in that car still if you need em.
