Replace it with a proper 17mm hex head plug with the added advantage of a super powerful rare earth magnet. Dimple products use extreme magnetism to rip the metal particles out of your transmission oil and keep it out. Dimple magnets are made under contract to insure that they are the strongest high temperature grade neodymium magnets in the world. Dimple's high temperature neodymium magnets do not loose magnetism like regular neodymium magnets do at only 175 degrees.

Suitable for all Snailshell and Audi-based transmission drain plugs.

Price: $35 each

Free bump for a great product
I jumped on the special for the Dimple plugs and I just received them.
I was very surprised and pleased by the strength of the magnet; well build, great quality, can’t wait to install them.
Thank Dan

Hi Dan,

What are the shippingcosts of these to the Netherlands? Or is it possible to combine it with another oversee-shipment?
If wish you showed them 2 months earlier when I was in your neighbourhood...

Small flat rate box to Europe is now something like $35. You can fit several small items in such a package, so maybe a "mini group buy" for some folks in NL might make sense? We're also offering special pricing, 2 for $60 if you wanted to get the oil sump drain plug and the trans drain plug at the same time.

It will work for sure, but probably overkill to have magnetic plug there. OEM non-magnetic are still available.
