Okay. Still working some issues on my new to me 87 924S
I pulled my fuel sending unit only to find a twisted tangled mess of cooper wires. It looked like a fishing trip gone bad.
Anyway to my real question. What years and models can I search for a used fuel sending unit. What all is interchangeable?
Thanks for your help _________________ 1987 924s |

Do you have a picture of your fuel sending unit? I think the '87 924s have the plastic 944 tank, in which case fuel sending units from '85.5 and up 944 should be able to be interchanged. A picture would help, so I can compare to the plastic 944 tank I have. _________________ 1980 931 (#185) for sale

Is it possible when I removed my fuel sending unit the tube stayed in the fuel tank? When I pulled it to investigate it wasn't enclosed in a tube but I didn't check to see if a tube still remained. I have found a couple of used units and they appear to be enclosed in a tube. Thanks for any help _________________ 1987 924s |
