| Hi, can anyone help me to decipher an engine code, the engine has been replaced in my 924S by PO and I want to understand what exactly they have put in so that I can chect the DME is compatible. The numbers that I can find are M44/01 and underneath 41Bxxxxx the x's are for the 4 numbers that I guess I should not share publically. Can anyone help please? |

M44/01 is from an early 944. Per PET, it was used from 82 to 85.
Are you sure the year code is "B?" The first 944 engine was 41C0001, where "C" would seem to correspond to 1982. I was unable to find documentation of a 41B. _________________ Toofah King Bad
