Just popped the timing pulley back on after oil pump work (and just a superbly jolly time getting the bolt in question off...), but alas my puny. 5" torque wrench is only rated to 150ftlb, and I noticed the haynes has that bolt spec'd at 180...
Is 150 good enough for amateur hour over here, or highly recommended to source a (potentially one-time-use) torque wrench that's a bit more "persuasive" to get the full 180?
Thanks,

Turbo need it done correctly n/a depends if your ever doing rear suspension work, there are a few bolts around the car with high torque so it might be worth investing? Other options are borrowing one from; tool hire, friend or down to the mechanics in you shortest skirt and working those legs, normally their pretty happy if you pick a quiet day for this or get them first thing in the morning, the trick being to drop your purse alot and pick it up not bending the knee... _________________ 1981 ROW 924 Turbo -
