I've gone through all the info I can find but cannot find a spec for an initial set for the throttle plate on a 82 931. I own a 85 Jaguar XJ6 that calls for an initial set of .02 on the plate. Is there aspec for this for the Porsche?
Any help would be appreciated.
Frank

Color my face red I forgot to refer to the Probst Fuel Injection Bible! Finally read that and the answer is turn the throttle valve screw out Enough to have complete separation from the throttle stop. Put a thin piece of paper between the screw and the stop. Tighten the screw lightly against the paper then tighten the screw 1/2 turn more. Then I would assume that you would need to adjust the throttle switch per Hayes or Porsche factory manual. Could not find this info in either of the manuals but both say don't mess with that screw which unfortunately I had! Sorry for the long post but maybe it will help some other kamikaze shade tree mechanic
