So I'm building a strictly track driven 931 has anyone completely deleted the cold start system? And if so what do I have to do or can I just pull it all off?

You don't think you'll ever see a cold morning with a track car???

Leave it alone.

That makes about as much sense as removing the defrost...

You shouldn't.

Considering CIS is a system and it is designed and engineered to work as a system, I'd say, "No."

Do it properly or don't do it at all.

Then go buy a haynes manual, read it, understand how your fuel system works, and stop posting on an open public forum where people are free to say whatever they want. That's the whole point of an internet forum.

You want no opinions and answers? Go read a book.
Don't like opinions? Don't post on the internet.

Everyone here who has given you advice have more years behind these cars than you.

You should.

We've raced our 924 for over a decade, still with the cold start system.

What exactly do you think the advantage is to removing it??

Makes perfect sense. I recommend removing the engine.
