So I have noticed that my newly purchased '87 924s once it warms up runs with the temp gauge about half way when sitting at a light. When I drive for 5 or 10 minutes, usually shifting at about 4 or 5000 rpms, (Yeehaaw!) it gets up to just below 3/4 on the temp gauge. Then at the next light it goes back down to half or a little below.
Is this what would be considered normal operating temps? _________________ 2007 Porsche Cayman 5 speed tan leather

| Sounds pretty normal to me. I didn't drive mine a whole lot before doing the entire FOES + water pump, but I see about the same variation on my gauge with similar driving habits. |

Thanks a lot for the reply, I'm new to Porsches and all cars are different so it's nice to hear from another 924 owner that mine is running in the same range as other 924's.... _________________ 2007 Porsche Cayman 5 speed tan leather
