Pull the fuel pump relay and the spark plugs. Crank it over for a few seconds to clear the fuel out. Replace the plugs with new ones. Once fouled, the spark plugs will never work correctly no matter how you clean them.
How did you flood it? Whatever caused the flood should be addressed before you put the new plugs in. |

panic over, she is back running well now. No idea regarding the cold starting still, may just have to take it to a shop or just put up with it for a while. _________________ 1985 Porsche 924 NA |

thanks so much guys for the help, like I said still haven't fixed the cold start problem but kinda freaked out a bit now by the whole CIS system so might just leave it for a bit and take a breather! _________________ 1985 Porsche 924 NA |

| Read up on CIS and how it functions, its not that complex, just different. Just don't make any adjustments until you have the right tools and are doing them in the proper order. You can really make a mess of it unless its done correctly. The cold start system is basically a separate system integrated into CIS, it will be easier to understand if you look at it this way. |
