Pets (EU version) shows two wurs for the M31.03. (931 series 2)

931 606 105 00 (0 438 140 062 ?)
931 606 107 00 (0 438 140 091 ?)

What is the difference and can anybody confirm the Bosch partnumbers ?

I believe that the ...107 part was a later introduction during S2 manufacture and therefore as an OEM part was only fitted to M31.03 engines. This part has a higher cold control pressure so not quite so much cold enrichment as the WUR fitted to the S1 engine. I seem to remember that the S2 part was withdrawn at some point and that for service the S1 part was approved for fitment to the S2 engine. The result would be a slightly richer mixture at cold start which should help initial firing at the cost of potentially more fuel in your oil and some bore washing. I guess that as Porsche approved the part for service it can't be that bad.

I can't remember where I read this so I can't quote the original source I'm afraid. Either way, as PET5 lists both parts then I would think it was pretty safe to use either.

I have a spare WUR awaiting rebuild which was removed from an original ROW S2 so I'll check the p/n's on that and let you know.

I got two wurs, one with 0438140062 and the other 0438140113, that came from the tuned Willebald racing engine.

Which one will be the best option for a series 2 931 ?

Here's a pic of the WUR I took off my stock '81 S2 932. As far as I know this was the factory fitted item - there was certainly 30 year's worth of oily tar behind the manifold pressure diaphragm. Bosch p/n is 0 438 140 062.

I ordered a 924 T part number 9316061050 and was sent a Python remanufactured/ Bosch 0438140011 which seems to be designated for a 924 NA. Could this possibly work or not at all?

Not sure on the part, but a difference between the n/a and turbo, the turbo has vacuum nipple attached to it.

I determined with the supplier that they did send the wrong part. Going to check out other places for a Bosch 091

Some cross-reference material on this page:
http://www.specialtauto.com/porsche-parts/index.html

And, according to this PDF, the 113 part is a VW/Audi part, although it doesn't specify what models.

As it specifies on the Special T page, an -062 is for the 79-80 931 and a -091 is for an 81-82.
