| Can't figure out a power window problem I have. Driver's window works fine. Passenger window operated from the passenger side works fine. Can't get the passenger window to work from the driver's passenger switch. Rotated through multiple switches with no luck. I checked the switch receptacle and it seems to be getting good power. Not sure what else it could be. Anyone have any thoughts? BTW its a 1987. |

Sounds like a wiring issue then. Check the grounds especially. Of course the wiring in the door jamb since it moves a lot. _________________ Stefan

Both switches that control the passenger side window are in series. Either switch could be faulty and cause the window to not move when in the non active position. _________________ 78 924 NA

+1. And, if the little rockers inside the switch got re-oriented incorrectly during a previous attempt to repair, they won't work correctly either. Each switch needs to be exactly the same.
Somebody did a really nice writeup on this, and I have been searching for it, but for the life of me I can't find it. Not sure if it was here, RL, Pelican or Clark's Garage. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Here's how to assemble them correctly. I was thinking about doing a "how-to" so that it would be easier to find this information.

I had the exact issue and it was the internals of the switch. _________________ 82 924
