FACT! in 1985.5 porsche introduced a new dash, in a newer car, called the 944.
FACT!

Well that’s not call an update, its call a new car with new design
87-88 924S was still using the same dash

And no point to SCREAM!

Scenario for my brother Mike Danger in the big D. The dash is cool its from a RSX.
Im not a radical purist.. I like to think I have some class
or swag. Id never replace the dash calling it a shitty 70s style piece of garbage. I fixed mine with fiberglass & light weight filler. If it was a 69 camaro would you replace the dash.

Personally, if I was going to do a custom dash, I'd REDUCE the complexity, like by using a race style dash like offered by CCP Productions. Minimalist car, minimalist dash & systems.

I don't think this dash fits the cars personality at all. I do however like orignal thinking. I can see people on both sides of this acting like buttheads.

Some of us enjoy preserving the original look, and many of us enjoy the 70s styling. Others prefer more modern stuff. You'll find no one here who shares the exact same opinion and various reasons and opinions. It's a public forum, so everyone is free to share their opinions.

If you want to do it, do it, then post the results. No one will really know how it looks till it's done.

Time to revive this! Awesome work, I'd like to see more! I think I'd go for the 944 late dash, but it would be interesting to see what can be done!
