So, I was able to buy one of the o-rings I need for my 1981's leaking turbocharger, but the one I really need in NLA.

They are sending me #9, but I need #18. Suggestions?

Green tartan interior, you don't see that on a Civic.

#18 is possibly included in a 944 2.5 N/A oil cooler repair kit. This is just information for everyone in a case of a emergency, if it happens you can't find one anywhere. I'm not 100% sure of this but few years ago I remember when I tried to find the proper green O-ring but it was NLA. Then finally got it from somewhere abroad and after it was installed I came across this partially used 944 oil cooler repair kit in my garage... and there it was! The same green O-ring.

So in case you can't find one, check the 944 repair kit.

edit: So this is not 100 % accurate information but then again could be. Beware and check before buying anything.

9xx, are you talking about the upper green viton o-ring, or the lower, black o-ring? Big difference in the two, besides size, high pressure on top and low pressure on the return line.

Thanks everyone! Ideola's garage kit was the perfect solution for me. Know I have to decide if I want to send the turbo off for a rebuild.
