Welcome! Great looking car!!

I saw that you are interested in tracking her....

I will be at Virginia International Raceway the beginning of May (there may be a drivers Ed attached to the race weekend) with SCCA. You are more than welcome to come and crash at my pit area in the paddock and check the whole track thing out and talk 924s.

Well done on a great looking first Porsche

Ian,
Thanks very much - especially the offer to come down to VIR. I have run VIR and love the circuit. I ran (and still have) a 1997 Subaru SVX - not exactly the best choice as a track or autocross car (at 4450 LBS GVW), but loads of fun. I also have a 1992 SVX, but I have sold it, replacing it with the 924. The '92 has coil overs and few other items to make it a better autocrosser / track car.
I'm afraid I won't be able to make it down to VIR the first of May since we are having a HPDE with the local Mercedes Club at Jefferson Circuit at Summit Point on May 4. But it would be great to get together....
Thanks again,
Harry

BTW, Ian ... Being from Raleigh, I know what Raeford is and in fact, I used to sport parachute jump at Raeford Airport in the 70's when I was assigned to Fort Bragg .... Good memories!
