Has any one tried installing fog lights into a non euro bumper that only has cut outs for turn signals on a 1988 924s Porsche. Any comment will be appreciated.

US 924 and 924S have holes drilled on the bottom of the bumpers for mounting foglights.

Euro bumpers are completely different parts with holes formed in the bumper to fit the foglights. cutting the same holes in US spec aluminum bumpers would be an EPIC Adventure.

I'd recommend using the existing under bumper holes to add foglights to a US car.

Why reinvent the wheel?

I was actually just thinking about this myself. First, you'll have to permanently remove the bumper pads. Then you'll have to cut the holes for the fog lights, cut some aluminum to make a "box" or "frame" to hold the light and the weld it in. Are you planning on using factory lights or aftermarket ones? How good are you at welding and fabrication?

Something you may want to consider as it's something I've been thinking about would be installing a couple of these guys. http://www.rigidindustries.com/led-lighting/21211

Kinda spendy yes, but there's no need to fab up any mounts and they won't put much if any strain on your electrical system.

Green tartan interior, you don't see that on a Civic.
