Saw that. Looked at the website and couldn't find it... It might be the BFG non-lemans #86. That's been on and off the market several times in the past 4-5 years.
With all due respect to present company, the 935, money for money, is a far better investment. |

Didn't Gregg & Haywood race one of those back in the day? Too bad it's not in their livery. I want a ride.... _________________ 1978 924, aka The Red Rocker |

The 924 looks much prettier and since you are not going to race them and probably just look at it every day...the 924 will do just fine while saving you some cash

A lot of people raced these. But I think the market embraces the idea of keeping these cars true to their history and origin - it would not be received well to change livery to copy a Brumos car when your car was something else. Most would consider that a "fake", to use a word.
Besides, this particular chassis has significant race history. Why bury that? People don't buy these (only) because they look cool. They buy them for who built them, who raced them, what the car did in competition (win or lose), whether they're a viable car (raceable?) today and can be run like you stole it -- or are they floor art?
I think its a pretty kewl car just as it sits. |

I think it looks great, Perhaps I should have said "Too bad it's NOT a Gregg & Haywood car". I used to follow them since they were ballsy American guys. I am not advocating "fake" cars or burying history, unwad your panties a bit.
and, actually, what reminded me of them was this article I just read ..... Haywood & Gregg kicked some serious ass...
