I added a button to activate the CSV, with an LED so I could see when it was working.

also I think Im going to also wire in the Fuel pump so that I can manualy turn it on.
Will priming the eninge help with HOT start? since I can then pressurize the system before I crank?

When i had the NA i had a hot start problem.
The fuel pump relay died and i replaced it with a modified normal 12v relay so when i turned the key the pump would be on and never stop.
After i did that i didnt have a hot start problem anymore as i would just let it fill up the system for a couple more seconds.

And if you are involved in an accident the pump continues to run and run....

Not a good idea IMHO!

Take a look at the fuel pressure accumulator...I think that is our hot start issue. The cars will always have hot start issues...but I don't think this will solve the problem...only put a patch on it.

Mine doesn't have a hot start issue, and it has no workarounds.

Lucky you.

But at least I have to option to control it. Plus I like watching the LED to know when the CSV is working. On subsequent starts the CSV did not come on.

Once its all fixed, should it fail again in the future, Ill have the back up solution ready to go rather than get stuck.

I tried the csv button thingy but unistalled it once I actually fixed the probelm which is probably your fuel accumulator.

+1 to Rastas comment.

You can prime the pump with the key in the on position and move the power mirror toggle button thingy. I have no idea why this works but it does.

If there is a hot-start problem often there is a leak in injectors, cold start valve, warm-up regulator, or fuel distributor. If not that, then Porsche recommends installing a second 20 cc accumulator and relocating the fuel pump with Installation Kit PN 477 298 111.
