OK So who else got trailer coupling hitch in 924/944?? I don't know stock point to install wiring for that hitch... It seems there's no any instruction about it. Even PEKA doesn't say anything about wiring... only "you can buy it separately"... f@$@ great

You connect into the rear taillight wiring, and let it hang out the hatch (or run it down through the bottom of the spare tire well.

You need a trailer plug and harness, which should be generic and match the trailer you intend to use.

Tap into the lights for brake, marker and turn signals.

Its not rocket surgery, but will have to be made, not bought.

I have complete set... but I don't know where should that wiring go to inside of truck compartment. I don't think going inside trough hole under spare tire is good way Is good way to keep water inside if there is any.

I'm looking for someone who got stock hook and instalation... there should be someone

You don't exactly live up to your name.... maybe you need a longer mullet?

I keed, I keed.

Seriously, I suspect a hole was drilled through the back side of the spare tire well or through the bottom of the trunk floor. It was likely sealed with a rubber plug and the wires run through it.

I stick wires to body by duct tape and it works.. but don't look too good

I suppose that but ... I look for someone who know where it should go exactly.
I made 4 holes for side mounting in stock mounting points and that wasn't hard to find... and in mounting manual they show exact positions so there was no problem. But with wires... in manual they only say you can buy wiring kit separately... I got booth but going thruth stock wiring holding points I going nowhere and the wires looks too short. Maybe I do something wrong.
I use temporarly one hole which was inside spare tire area, but I want to make it better or like it should be done, even if I had to make another hole somewhere...
Connecting sockets to tail lights are easiest thing to do

I think they are talking about a generic trailer towing bar harness.

However, if there is a factory harness it might be listed in the PET catalog, in which case it might be available for order from the local Porsche dealer.

The installation of the wiring harness recommended for 924/944 from etrailer.com is shown in a series of videos for eight different cars. The video for the 2010 VW SportWagen with its similar spare-tire placement reflects what the installation would be for a 924/944.

The installation shown there is a detailed procedure like the one sketched out by fiat22turbo in previous post.
