Hallo.
I am from Denmark - sorry for my English I have a 931 from 1979 and a 924 na from 1983 and this is my first post here.
I have found some nice RH p Rad Wheels I would like to get on my 931 but I think they are too big the owner have them on his 944 now.
The sizes are:
Back: 18" X 10" ET 27 with 245mm tires.
Front: 18" X 8,5" ET 35 with 205 tires.
I think the front Wheels should fit right on, the problem is in the back.
Do anyone here drive with 18"X10" Wheels in the back? or how much metal work should be done before they fit in? |

Welcome.
You have to set the car pretty low to run 18" wheels..otherwise it will look like a pimp mobile
Honestly i dont think the front ones will work...and the rear ones wont work for sure if you want to have suspension travel and tuck the rubber under the metal. _________________ Supercharger and EFI kits

No way. They will not fit to 931.
You need at least ET50 on front and rear.
Boxster wheels fit ok without doing nothing... 7" on front and 8,5 on rear... 17" is max without troubles.
If you get rid stock spacers from back and add some 5-8mm instead you should be able to use 9" at rear and that is max what you can put on rear of 931 fenders without changeling them for 944 or GT.
About tires... 225 on front and 235 rear is max what you can put there.
I recommended 205 and 225 fit without problems. _________________ 931 82' - 5000km after full engine rebuild

Thank you for the answers.
So this will Work?:
Back: 17"X8,5 with 235 tires
Front: 17"X7,5 with 205 tires
What about the ET? near 50 will look good and be driveable? |

Widest ive seen on a 931 is 255 rear + 235 front. But you have to get ET pretty spot on, and need smaller diameter "race" springs on the front struts. But I cant se how 18s would look anything other than ridiculous _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

996 or Boxster - Cup 3 (That they called it in Porsche shop)
7" - 996.362.124.00 - ET 55 - 8.4kg - Front
8,5" - 996.362.126.05 - ET 50 - 9.1kg - Rear
Added just 8mm spacer at rear (I will try also with 5mm when I get one) - without standard 21mm rear spacer which I didn't have... Now I have 21mm stock and work's fine.
I'm sure 9" could be used but with thinner spacer only - with stock 21mm it's possible to have to roll fender at back to fit them.
Tires are Pirelli P6000 205/50/R17 Front and 225/45/R17 Rear.
No spacers at front
