My father has been working on my car this summer. We put in a new to us relay board and fixed some of the wiring that had burnt 4 years ago. Now when I start the car it dies right away. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Try it again and see if it stays running if you hold the key in the start position.

If it does, your ignition switch is broken. Its a cheap and relatively easy piece to replace.

check out the information at the http://www.924.org and there's some good (if not a bit dated) information there to help you out.

No it doesn't stay running if I hold the key in the start position. We already changed the switch last year.

fuel- does the pump run, fuel flow, air/fuel mix
spark, is there power at the engine control unit? coil? spark correct
compression

it sounds like only the CSV is working
