| Thanks for the tip! but i must remember you that the car started and performed properly before the head gasket repair and i did not mess up with the mixture screw...so it shouldnt be out of tune i guess. maybe a timing issue? to set timing i aligned the crankshaft pulley mark with the notch on the oil pump so that piston 1 is at tdc, then aligned camshaft pulley notch to the notch on the camshaft cover.then i fitted the distributor that i had previously made a mark on to mark its position and made sure that the rotor was also poiting to the notch on the distributor body. i'm now guesing a timing issue or some odd problem with the new fuel lines i installed |

Final assembly pics:
she now runs fine and pulls great thanks to a local Porsche specialist who diagnosed a wrong fuel pressure...although i dont know how because i did not mess up with it.
and after the assembly and tune i decided to polish...
after half a can of wax and a couple of beers here is the result
