Well, my tank is ruined. It was supposed to be cleaned and refinished, but it turns out its rusted too far. So, what are my replacement options? Fuel cells, oem replacements, something? This sucks.

I think your best bet would be to find a used one either from someone here on the board or from a local pick and pull.

Todd's in Airway Heights has a '24
Haven't seen it but the pic on clist looks a little rusty.
They don't charge to take look.

Yeah, I already took some stuff from it. Its a rust bucket, I doubt the tank would be any better than mine.

I have a relatively clean one from a 931. Missing the bottom secondary fuel pump and nipple. The latter you'd have to source. No outside rust, just some orange dust that fell out the hole, which might be old gas/varnish. Solid. Not sure it will fit, it is a bit different from one I had from a '77, which I junked unfortunately. Not sure if it will work.
