Hell yes, that's the stuff.
Do you know how much they are?
Didn't find an e-mail address to get in touch.
Just a phone number. |

| I'm open for any suggestions. In Germany I can either go for the H&R coilovers, the KAW kit or the usage of my Flex. You guys provided already some great new sources for bits and pieces. I'm glad someone recommended this board to me. THANKS! |

Ladies and gentlemen,
this day ended the way it was planned and you might like to see the result of a few hours in the workshop. Finally I managed to slam the Tranny and now my struggle to ruin this formerly well engineered sports car is as close to the ground as I always wanted.
The whole suspension is not properly measured and set yet, but the visible progress is clearly visible. After we pushed it out of the workshop for some photos, I had to tape the front bumper on, just for the looks. The rear still needs to be lowered and there's a lot of work left, but this keeps me already smiling.
The photos are all just crappy iPhone quality, some better ones are about to come.
This how it looked before:
Some moments later:
I'm using coilovers for a Volkswagen Golf 1 on the front right now. I sourced new camber plates here in Europe, which will give me some more possibilities to go even lower. Though I don't think this is necessary. But now it's all adjustable and I can't wait for the first testdrive.[/img] |

Looks great but what about geometry correction , are you using longer ball joints or some kind of extenders ? _________________ '86 944 Club Sport replica

| Thanks. Nothing is properly measured or aligned right now. This will follow with the next steps. |

I'll keep the torsion bars at the rear.
Of course it'll be lowered to fit the front.
Some polybushes will go in as well.
Let's wait what happens with the wheels.
I've got some plans but need some more time. |

Karpaazio: This here is the source for really impressive 924 knowledge. That's why I felt like there has to be a thread here as well. The German Porsche forum is horrible for the transaxle models. Too many strange acting people who mainly don't want massive changes like this project.

Took a couple of better photos today. There's a lot of work left, to make it look good and work at least a little bit. Anyway, enjoy the photos:
The massive rake makes it look like an 1980s Camaro with Hijackers in the back and a Confederation flag painted on the diff cap. This will be fixed soon. It has to be.
And I couldn't resist to test fit a backwheel on the front. It's massive 9x15 ET-19. Didn't remove the spacers so it doesn't work like this. And I'm not so sure whether I could like it or not. We'll see what's gonna happen. (Crappy iPhone pictures for this test only.)
