So question for all of you. I received the front Porsche crest for the 924 this week, thank you again Ken. Now I am trying to put it on the car, but I was only able to find 4 small nuts and bolts closest to the engine bay. The front plate will move up and down, but not enough to get a good push for the clips. Are there more nuts and bolts underneath and if so, do I need to remove the front bumper to get to these?

Thank you for putting up with my dumb questions, the book that I have just isn't as descriptive as I would like for some of these things.

Lift the headlights, remove the rubber strip under the lip of the badge panel. There will be two bolts blow the rubber and one between the wing and edge of the panel.

Depending on the method of fixing, there are two types, the badge panel shouldn't need removing for replacing the badge. Early badges which are correct for 924's will use two plastic inserts into the badge panel to secure the badge. The later badges use metal grommets to retain the badge, which is fine when fitted to a bonnet with no access issues.
