Back in 2008, we did a bunch of analysis to try to identify complete suspension bushing upgrade options. At that time, there was no single vendor that had a complete package of polyurethane bushings that covered the entire range of 924, 924S, 944, and 968.

Last year, Power Flex rounded out their offerings and now provide almost all of the necessary model-specific bushings to re-do the entire suspension in Poly. The only pieces they do not offer at this time are the upper strut mount bushing, the upper torsion carrier mount, and the torsion carrier wing mount. Everything else is now available for virtually every iteration and combination conceivable, including:
  1. Front a-arm bushings (steel & alu a-arms)
  2. Castor blocks (steel & alu a-arms)
  3. Sway bar main bushings
  4. Sway bar end bushings
  5. Sway bar drop link bushings (all three versions now supported)
  6. Rear sway bar bushings
  7. Main torsion carrier to chassis bushings
  8. Trailing arm to torsion carrier bushings
  9. Spring plate to torsion carrier bushings
You can refer to this diagram to help determine which bushings you would like to upgrade:

The complete range of Power Flex bushings are now available on our Suspension Upgrades page, along with all of the OEM replacement bushings, including some of the additional hardware components (like upper strut mounts, rear sway drop links and eccentric adjusters).

Also, we have made some significant upgrades to our site recently, now offering the ability to create user-configurable kits, which should streamline the selection and ordering process.

Nice compilation, thanks for your efforts. I'll be hitting you up for a few bushings that I haven't picked up yet. I'm dropping the torsion assembly to rebush and reindex my 28mm bars in the next month... or so. The garage is just a little too cold right now.

Cheers, Brian

Thanks Brian...and I understand completely what you mean about the cold!

This is the first supplier I've found that has a poly alternative for the big bushings that go on the spring plate / torsion carrier pivot points. They didn't have those a few years ago, so I was pleased to see how many bushings they added to their lineup.

And for those desiring more stiffness (yeah, I know, that's what she said), we've just added a number of Competition Suspension Components from Tarett Engineering.

Hi Dan
Do you have replacement bushings for the top strut mount?

Thanks
