My 951 intercooler conversion is almost finished, end of next year I also want to make a GTS style intake manifold. But first I want to go track driving finally!

I like the fuel filter location, I have mine on my EFI conversion tucked under the brake booster. Did you source that rubber fuel line off the shelf, or have it made?

The rear rubber fuel line is also on your car, it is connected to the steel one. The front one is just made with banjo bolts.

Ahhhh, I get it now. The hose looked really long in the photo, but actually isn't. I never thought of the bango and bolts. I bought a brakeline flare kit to make 'bubble flare' ends like the fuel lines. Cut up the stock 10mm fuel line by the windshield to make shorter lines to attach to fuel filter and in rear, a 944 fuel pump. The oem 'couplers' come in handy here as well. 10mm bubble flares are not fun to make!

There was a GTS replica manifold on ebay.de at the start of 2012 for circa €1200. I did consider buying it but had an engine to rebuild first.

I'd be up for one but not at that price.

Yeah, and then people complain that €2000 is too much for a complete turbo+efi+intercooler+clutch kit for 924.....

OT threadsteal:

The guy only post pics on facebook, I got the permission to put up some of them on the swedish 924/944 board (944sverige.com). Its easily the best 924 bild in a long time. It is a pure 924 GTS replica, exactly as the factory buillt them, no expenses spared anywhere. Made new CAD models and casted upp rear "torsion beam", hubs and intake manifold, complete body rebuilt in rally gts shape incl interior, engine is on its way incl v8 kjet etc etc. Its being built for historic rallying.

924 porn royale and the end of my threadsteal.

Parts casted and ready for machining.

Btw, I heard a number thata set of these parts would cost around 30 000 eur to buy from freisinger...Just to get some perspective on what things cost on this level.

Back to your car, hope to see a dynor run soon !

Mittelmotor.de also sells a GTS replica manfold, to bad it is € 2.000.

I thinking about cutting up a 951 intake manifold, anybody done this ?

Not yet, but I’m also planning on trying it.
I already have a 951 manifold and a spare 931.
Let me know if you make any progress.
