-1986 944 Turbo
-Just over 100K miles
-Never been wrecked or molested
-Older respray with a few nicks but easily touched up
-Other than the hatch carpet and maybe new front seat covers there's not much else cosmetically to do inside
-Only mechanical issue I believe is the MAF door sensor needs the "wiper arm" adjusted as it stutters every once in a while at WOT
-Previous owner had it for at least 10 years and he was the son of the dealership owner that I got it from
-I paid well LESS than auction price on this beauty and could double my money even with the soft economy (took me a year to work this deal, right place at right time)

To tell you the truth I've used the top "heat box" setup way more than the powder coating oven. The heat box is what I used to heat up plastic for my homemade vacuum forming machine. _________________ '80 924 Turbo - SOLD!

OT,
Curious minds want to know, what would one make in such a thing?
Thanks,

Oh it's not OT at all. In the coming weeks I hope to make it quite on topic making a few parts for this car. Possibly headlights ala Carrera GTS, as well as speaker pods and an amp rack mounting tray in the rear well areas. _________________ '80 924 Turbo - SOLD!

Cool. Would you one day be able to maybe do a dashboard? _________________ 1982 931- Stock with MBC at 8psi

If it's less than about 46" across I can do it using the full width of the table, but I'd have to go to "stage 2" for the heat box and build a dedicated unit instead of the top burners on the stove. Largest I can do currently is about 21-22" square.
Also, found out tonight that the car is wired for an amp already from the Blaupunkt CD player and that the CD player has an AUX-IN as well. Now, to sell it, or upgrade to a double din DVD unit... hummmm _________________ '80 924 Turbo - SOLD!
