Kewl!
No trips currently planned, but we'll keep ya posted...
Did you manage to get ahold of Scott S?
Are you also planning to swing by Mike Mount's shop in VA? John Brown would know for sure, I think he's dealt with some of the 933s (GTRs for sure)... _________________ Vaughan Scott

Vaughan,
No I have not been in touch with those fellows. The gent I have been in touch with lives in South Carolina and is the owner of Apex Performance. A little plug for them but they are a great place to get your racing gear. Huge selection, fair prices, and superb customer service. They specialize in helmets and especially proper fitment which a lot of people don't take into consideration when buying helmets.
Can you help with E-Mails for the guys you have listed? As we start going through the car all the resources we can come up with will be helpful. Especially when it comes to parts.
I have a ton of three piece BBS wheels which range from 7 x 15 to 11 x 15. I have been acquiring them to use and for arts for one of my 914-6's. I never thought I would have the opportunity to use them on another car.
On another BB there was a topic and people were writing about how many wheels they had. They were being referred to as "wheel whores". I am sure one of those! And then the tires. Oh my God!! _________________ Ken Greenfield |

Hi,
I have not really done a whole lot with the car. I got involved with some really big expenses in a pro racing deal that went sour and in re-working my 914-6 which is my primary race car.
We have disassembled the 933 including the motor and as time/money permit, we will be back at it unless somebody is interested in the 933. Know any takers or interested parties? Ken Greenfield _________________ Ken Greenfield |

I would appreciate details of the engine if possible while disassembled. Valvesize, valveguides, cam, head and combustiochamber, pistons, rods, crank and so on. Please. _________________ Carl Fredrik Torkildsen

Dear Karl,
While I appreciate your message. I cannot provide the information that you have requested. I had a mechanic disassemble the motor but we have no current plans to rebuild it and I don't have the technical information to share with you.
The most successful owner of the car was Don Meluzzio and he said back in the day when the car was very successful he was running about 210 HP on the dyno. I think the specs of our motor are similar.
I am finishing up a 914-6 for SVRA and HSR. Once we finish that car and get it runing properly on the track we may change our focus and work on the 933. There is also a possibility that I may offer the car for sale after the first year. Lots of things in the equation.Thank you again for your inqiury. Ken Greenfield _________________ Ken Greenfield |
