I was able to use the rail from a Dodge Neon. I was alos able to bend the bracket to line up with bolts on the intake. I will have to get some posted. Works quite well with no leaking. I would eventually get a new rail and weld/braze brackets on.

Some pics would be cool, I'm in the midst of doing the same, good food for thought. I'd like to see your approach. The lack of a return might be an issue performance wise but by how much? One could gut the shrader valve on the end of the rail and viola you've got a return.
