Thanks so much for your quick response, I'm interested in the buy your own lights option but a little confused on the link to the 86 Calais headlight assembles, do you get the 4x6 lights as well as the bezels and Brackets or just the lights? Also where can one find the black bezels as chrome definitely does not play into the theme of my car! Looking forward to placing my order and please post some pics of the light smoke tint covers as soon as you can so I can make a decision between those and the bronze! _________________ 87 Porshe 924s custom widebody |

It’s a headlight assembly package, so you get the bracket (light bucket and bezel) and a cheapo seal beam in it, with a different connection pattern that 924/944.

You can buy them from me; I have 2 set in hand.
Or I can try to find where I got them.

You can see pics of light bronze on page 2 and 3.
And I just talk to my provider and they just got some.

So I just wanted to report my thoughts on the GTS head light kit and dealing with Claude(76-924)
Overall I think this is a fantastic kit!
Shipping was incredibly fast (like 3 days from Canada to 'Sconsin)
Packaging was great. Everything was securely packaged and bubble wrapped to eliminate any possibility of damage during shipping.
The quality of the parts are great. I'll admit that this would be the first 'real' full carbon fiber piece that I've had first hand experience with so it feels super light but I wasn't concerned about ruining anything. Parts are super light weight and the finish quality is very nice.
The lens covers are fantastic. Perfectly molded and clearly a very high quality finish/edges/etc.
The instructions were included in pdf format and are easy to follow.
Installation process is pretty painless. You don't need any special tools or skills for proper installation. It'll take a brief afternoon to get everything adjusted perfectly flush but it is definitely worth it. _________________ [This Space For Rent] |

As soon as you get the light smoke tint pics up I'm ready to buy as I just purchased the Calais headlight assemblies...do you know where onecan purchase the wiring harness adaptor for these lights to adapt to the 924s wiring?
can you please show pics closeup and at a distance of these? Also would it be possible for you to provide a painting service or provide a template to paint the outer edge of the covers, Like this? I think this would just be icing on the cake of a perfect AFFORDABLE kit for this car!

Can you enumerate what the colors are? I can't read the labels in the photo...I'm particularly interested in one of the three dark colored lenses in the lower right corner.
FWIW, the pricing on those Autopal lights is pretty incredible. Those inclosures appear to be very similar to the Hella enclosures, and are about 1/2 the cost. Have you had a chance to assess the quality of them in person? _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Counting from left to right and top to bottom:
#9 dark gray
#10 light bronze
#11 light gray
#12 medium or dark bronze ?
There is 3 shade of bronze: light, medium and dark.
There is examples of light bronze in page 2 and 3, and the tester kit in page 9, show the medium bronze.
I also have a piece of dark grey at home, so let me know if you want to see some pics.

Yes, they are pretty good, in fact that’s what I put in my car.
After research, I found many reference and forums, manly jeep and 4X4, were recommending them as being the best quality for the price.
I’ve also seen the Busch, similar to Hella, and they look very similar to Autopal.

Yes, I would like to see pix of the dark grey, and if possible the light grey. Does your supplier have any specs on how much the tinting attenuates light output??? _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |
