Hey all-
My name is Derik and I currently live in Heidelberg Germany. My family and I recently relocated here from Peoria, IL. I have been lurking for the past week and just joined. I am currently looking at purchasing the 924 Carrera GT shown here:http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C255637 and noticed you had a small discussion about this car the FS thread. I have verified the VIN to be correct but the different items on the car do concern me. I am scheduled to talk to the current owner tomorrow. Please feel free to chime in any particular questions I should be asking. Thanks much and it's nice to be in the "club".

LOL! I have tried to a few times but I can't get rid of the King size... May just remove it altogether.

I would love to find someone who makes those front fender flares, that is just what I have been looking for for my project.

Derik,
Ideola is travelling today but should be back on line soon. He can give you a lot of good advice about the car you are looking at. Pictures from your meeting witht the present owner will help greatly.

Yeah, thats a nice kit, but I cant say I would pay that for it. Plus the flares are rather awkward looking. I may fabricate such a kit but make it flow with the cars shape a little better.
