I see that the US had 876 produced..... Are they pretty hard to find or common? I am looking at one right now and wondered if it really was that rare.

876 produced for the US and you're wondering it is rare?

Compared to say a 1982 911 turbo?

There were 938 911 Turbo Coupes produced in 1982.

So. Yes. Yes it is.

Stefan, does it make it more valuable? And what do you think one is worth running?

I've seen this one in person, Applebit's father's car I believe. Well worth the money he's asking.

Yes, extremely more valuable.

But seriously, the only thing that makes the later ones better to me is the 5 lug, 4 disk wheels/brakes. My car appears to be very late and has 944 HVAC controls and 944 front sway bar setup.

Unfortunately, regardless of rarity, any car is only worth what someone is ready, willing and able to pay for it.

I found a 1982 Turbo(saw the door tag) about 20 miles north of me. Unfortunately it would need a lot of help. I looked at it momentarily last winter and apparently the turbo is missing/lost, the wiring is apparently in bad shape and the interior was almost destroyed as well as some body wrinkles. It is owned by a gold miner(yes even a small homemade smelter) who also has a NA automatic. I did see the 5 bolt spiderwebs, but didn't look much further as it was quite cold and there was quite a bit of snow around at the time.
