My newly aquired 82 has sat for a week. Started great, first thing. Idle bounced back and forth from 1000- 1400 rpm til warm up. Settled down to 900 rpm, and ran smooth after that. Is this normal after a week or so parking? But much easier than the 912 parked for a week, on start up. The 931 ran great after the warmup. Thanks, jerry

How fast did it bounce? What frequency? Could just be the DITC maybe with a little condensation?

I once had a similar issue with a CIS-equipped 911. It turned out to have the wrong cold-start auxiliary air valve installed.
