Hi now for a few weeks my car runs again
after a complete rebuild of my engine and Turbo
so the engine now has new cilinders (bored out and placed new ones)
all new gaskets bearings ,..... also the turbo is new
the injection and ignition had some changes
4 new injectors, euro fuel distributor, euro ditc,
removed the frequency valve, lambda sond, coal canister
this is a us car that's why all that was removed and the euro fuel distributor was placed and the euro ditc

now after rebuild the car started immediately so i was happy at first
some smoke and it diddent run perfect but what would you expect thats perfectly normel
after letting it run 2 times till the engine was hot and cooled down again i noticed it didnt run well still smokes a bit but thats better now

when it runs stationary the engine just dous not run smooth
i tried with the temp sensor on inlet pluged in and pulled out but the only difference is that it just goes from about 800rpm to 1200rpm but for the rest about the same

when i rev the car up to 3000-4000rpm when it pops in the exaust when i let it decel

also i can see that i dont have enough turbo pressure now its max 0.3 - 0.4 bar; the spring installed is 0,75bar i also installed this spring after rebuild the engine and it is larger then the original 0.4 bar spring

i looked for leaks like vacuum leaks and can not find anything sprayed the engine with a complete bottle of brakeclean when running ant i dont notice the engine running different

now you know a lot of what i 'v done to the engine
but before rebuild and shanging all this the car ran the same as now so to me it must be something else but i 'm starting to get out of ideas

You need to tune your injection system. To do this, you need a CIS Pressure tester. . .a specialty tool for only CIS cars.

No Volvo, benz, BMW, VW, Porsche service shops in your area? They all used CIS injection systems.

hi no cant find anyone that still has a good meter
but now at the wur is a connection were the frequency valve was so i can messure the pressure there

now i was trying to make something to mesure the fuel pressure at the fuel filter or line to distributer (same line ) but cant find anything to fit correctly

while i was doing this i found a problem, the fuel filter was installed backwards it was a new one when i bought the car so i did not place a new one stupid that i did not saw it at first

so now before i can do anything else i have to order a new one

Can this be the problem ? i did remove it and there is no rust or dirt in it

no, the car will run ok even with the filter installed backwards...dont ask how i know..

Dont forget to check the vacum connection for the pop-off valve under the intake manifold. There is a pipe that goes from the bottom of the intake manifold to the turbo pop-off valve.
