Just a quick thread to remember Dan Wheldon, who was killed at Las Vegas this afternoon at an Indy Car race.
Saw him win at Indy in 2005. Had the silliest glasses I've ever seen. A great competitor, driver and nice guy. He will be missed. |

I know. I did a quick Google image search and that came up and it really made me pause.
It is so easy to talk about how he died doing what he loved, etc. but the lasting impact of his life is so much more than his driving ability, especially to his wife and kids.
We all love cars, racing, etc. but sometimes it is easy to lose focus on what is truly important. _________________ Stefan
