Ideola,
Do you have procedures on testing the fuel pressure for my 924. This is the next thing i wish to check and received the tester you sent me but would like to know where to specifically make the connections. _________________ TheBib |

I have a sheet and diagram with instructions...I'll take some pix and spend some time typing it up so we can have a permanent reference. Won't be until later tonight at the earliest. In the meantime, the procedure in Haynes is suitable...you have to disconnect the feed line from the fuel dizzy to the WUR. Your kit comes with the attachments to connect...but I don't have the diagram in front of me to describe it to you. Smoothie had some pix of how to hook it up, so maybe do a search with "Smoothie" as the author and "CIS test*" as the search criteria, set the "all words" and "Show posts" options... _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Thanks Dan,
I will await yours. reason is that i do need the specifics becasuse don't know if its just that the 1982 has more pieces or not, but at the fuel dizzy outlet there are actually two banjo fittings one on top of the other and just seems odd to disconnect both leaving them hanging. So no big hurry just had some downtime. Don't plan on working on it till possibly the weekend, but even that depends. I would rather get it right then be messing around disconnecting banjo fittings with those o-rings and creating unnecessary leaks or spraying fuel all over the place.
thanks
