If it's for real, that is a spectacular example and a collector's item for sure. I *love* that color combo. It's probably a good thing it's a llllloooonnnngggg ferry ride from MI, or I'd be too tempted to resist!

WOW

First off, if those pics are current, that car is in FACTORY FRESH condition. Not many if any left like that.

AND

If all that provenance is impressive as well.

Well worth 2k quid and way up from there. No brainer.

If you compare the sides they've messed up the respray

This side is f***ed

Too low on the rear wheel arch/ spat. Too high on the rear corner. Puts the horizontal line clear out.

I have a two-tone green turbo of the same vintage

Yes I was drooling over this the other day. If I bought it a divorce would be imminent otherwise I'd bid.

It's almost identical to mine apart from the wheels and my interior is the same tartan but with a lighter tan-coloured leatherette/vinyl rather than the dark brown. My dashboard is in much better condition though - probably because my car was in storage between 1986 and 1999.

Does that mean there were only 4 of that spec imported to the UK in 1979? If that's the case then mine was registered early November 1979 so could be one of the four...

I'm definitely a sucker for the tartan interiors. There was a nice one-of-a-kind GTS Clubsport in '911 and Porsche World' that had red tartan seats *drool*

Mine was one of the four too if that's the true number...

You should do it
You can then be one of the four 'chosen ones'
One more wouldn't hurt would it - and at least the steering wheel will be on the correct side

Reading the ebay description again, it does seem odd to me that even though this is a well known 932, there is no history file with the car.

I would have thought that at least one owner would have kept MOT certificates and bills etc.
