Roughly how much is it to repair a head following a timing belt break? And what is the breakdown of the expenses (not mechanic labor)? _________________ Rob

Not sure on the repair part of the equation, but I do have spare used valves. Also, have a very clean 931 head with clean valves. Not sure on condition of valve guides. Has mismatched cam bearing caps, would require a reem job there of some sort. _________________ '83 944 Track car.

I'm estimating $1k. I'm hoping for the best though. It'll be a long process though. _________________ Rob
