hi all just a bit of info for you guys

Porsche 924S Le Mans special edition was built to celebrate Porsche’s 12th outright win in the Le Man 24 Hour.
A total of 980 Le Mans models were manufactured between July and September 1987, 200 black and 50 white cars were sold in West Germany, 500 for the US market but all were black, and 113 black and 117 were for the‘Rest of the World’ markets.
AUSTRALIA RECIEVED ONLY 171 SO NOW VERY RARE I WAS VERY LUCKY SWAPPED MINE FOR A 20FT MOTOR SAILER BOAT.
my lemans has only done original 52,000 klm on odometer is spotles inside and out was owned by a doctor who apparently loved it a lot more than his wife and patients and kept it spick and span i am the third owner.
this car is a dream i wonder what it would actualy be worth to sell ??? i reckon about $14,000 upwards in the condition and rarity of it what do you guys think ?? i am going to insure it so not sure of price ???

If you're asking about insurance value, I would find an insurance program that allows you to "declare" the value at which you wish to insure the car. Don't know how they do things down under, but over here, most collector insurance programs allow you to insure the car for a "declared value".

For example, on my CGT, I insured it for $40K, whereas run-of-the-mill street cars I usually insure for about twice what I paid for them. The reality is that regardless of provenance or actual value, ANY of these cars are virtually irreplaceable if crashed, so my approach is to insure the car for what it's worth to ME. That way, if something bad happens, I walk away with a pile of money to go buy something better.
