Have a helper stand on the outside to catch the glass or place a thick blanket on the ground in case it gets dropped. The glass can be pushed out from the inside by starting at a corner and working the rubber gasket over the pinch weld while pressing out. Take your time and don't force things. _________________ 87 924s

Not that anyone lived to tell about.
Just leave hatch and doors open so there is alot of ventilation. _________________ 1977 924na BlackSeaRD.com Torque Tube SuperBearings, Xenon air dam, 200# Weltmeister springs, Bursch header, 944 exhaust, Audi throttle body |

Go for a pair of nice 4 x 6 and bolt them in. _________________ "Never get out of the boat. Absolutely goddamn right. Unless you are goin' all the way."

I got a set of expensive 6x9 hence why i wana put them in. grinded alot of metal away and it fits nicely. New wires would be in order when i do the other side because this stock wire makes the $300 speakers sound like sh!t.
I can now finally say , this car has never ran this good since i bought it... 2 years down the track and alot of parts _________________ 924 1982 N/A

Congrats. I just put a pair of 4 x 6 in this weekend to replace some bad OEM speakers, and did it without taking the windows out, or removing the side panels. Was not fun. I am sure that by taking the entire panel apart, the access is easier. I did not want to have to pop the windows back in, and get the side panel trim under the window gasket. Probably would have been quicker though! _________________ "Never get out of the boat. Absolutely goddamn right. Unless you are goin' all the way."
