You can't really make out the carb, but I can't imagine you can find one with an appropriate flow rate for a 2L engine.

| I'd love to see a closeup of the intake. Looks like it's welded seam steel tubing, but I can't quite tell. |

Still got the engine though waits in the garage for a new owner or new car. Maybe I'll put carbs on it instead of the tb's (easier when there's no EFI yet...)
Sounded very nice with those intakes (and normal exhaust) when I went WOT.
Next engine will be even more fun. _________________ "Rule: Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun." (C. Bell)

already an old story
http://www.924board.org/viewtopic.php?t=32636
at this moment the green one has been passed on to another enthusiast the silver one stands scrapped on my driveway. Only have to get the doors off and I'll let it be picked up by some scrap metal collector.
Salvaged almost everything though even got the wiring loom out without damage.
In the near future, no 924 haven't got the money since I've bought a house, but I'm still working (almost never..) on my turbo engine.

Stuffed at the 'Ring. . .well, if a Porsche must go, that seems like a fitting end.
Not sure how I missed the original story, though. . . _________________ Toofah King Bad

Can't be reading everything at all times, right
I sure hope I can supply an even better video in time, but can't spend much time and money on this hobby at the moment.
Next time my LPG tank will be at the back seat, I'm pretty sure the previous spot wasn't improving the handling
Also I'm thinking about E85, so maybe the turbo engine will run tri-fuel... e85 isn't really available here, but it sure is happening so I'll anticipate. _________________ "Rule: Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun." (C. Bell)
