After using the VIN Decoder on 924.org i found out mine is a 77 (knew that) US, California model.. What was different on the California's? Knowing them i'm going to assume it's an emissions issue. _________________ Black '77 924 N/A |

I think the 924's were all considered 50 state cars, as they were CIS/cat exhaust.
CA did require that these cars when they changed hands or came from another state be checked to see that they still were CIS/Cat exhaust cars and hadn't been converted to Carb/Tin Can exhaust. _________________ "person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt person who is doing it" |

Actually the california model is just fruit loop compatable. In standard cars the ass touches the seat bottom,while in the cali models the ass touches everything in the car and pilots it down the road. Make sure you wash the steering wheel before driving. _________________ 87 924s
