we have good friends over there and were able to get through to them on facebook but not the phone, 1 up for the internet.

They are OK even though the buildings were shaken, our news in OZ is claiming that the Quake is '1000 times stronger than Christchurch' in New Zealand. At least 32 are dead and entire towns on Japan's east coast have been washed away after tsunamis up to 10m high hit following an 8.9-magnitude quake

Holy cow! The vid of the wave of flaming debris and junk coming in was just unbelievable! It didn't look real, like a special affect in a movie or something. What a bad situation.

It put's it all into perspective, you think you have problems and then mother nature throw's a curve ball. Luckily in Ireland we do not have siesmic problems like that and i could not even imagine the feeling of hopelessness in such a situation. My thoughts and prayers are going out to New Zealand and to Japan.
