Does anyone know, will the front and rear seats from a 1987 924s fit in a 1978 942? What I mean is, are they a direct bolt in replacement. I'd also like to fit the rear seat-belts as my car doesn't have any. How about the rear hatch struts?
Thanks in advance. |

Hi there
The seats are interchangable. with a few modifcations the latch hooks are different ,for the upper part of the seat that folds down & you will have to drill holes in the body to attach the seat belt buckles a little tricky to work around the torque tube & drill holes to acomodate the retractors. I would locking nuts to secure the bolts to eliminate the worry of nuts backing off. If you have access to a late model 924 or 944 I would a good look of where hole placement should be & you should be able to locate the latch pins from a parts car hope this helps
