|
|
I need to change my rear dampers, and I noticed that ( on porscheshop.co.uk ) SPAX rear adjustable shock absorbers cost the same as standard dampers, but are bump/rebound adjustable.
Why so cheap? Are they flimsy crap, or are they just good cheap shocks?
Anyone who has these care to comment? |

I have seen alot of kit car/race car builders in the UK use SPAX on high quality builds so they won't be rubbish. _________________ 1979 931 with a 350 chev

I've used them on a lot of race cars without problem. _________________ Porsche 924 Carrera GT (Fake!) |

friend of mine is mounting them on his mini. Haven't checked them out in detail, but at first glance they looked good. I'm curious how they'll perform but I'm pretty confident it will be better than before _________________ "Rule: Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun." (C. Bell)

On the finnish Porsche board one guy put Spax dampers and 951 sway bars on his 924. He said the ride was very firm after this modification. _________________ Mikko

That's another worry, if they'll be too firm. This is a daily-driver which I want to improve somewhat, not a track-oriented stripped-down hard-as-nails beast . |
