Okay, first of all...Slam, I was also in bed by 9pm after trying to put chickens back in their friggen coop. Then tried to put the kids to bed, then remembered that I had left the water for the horses on, wasting at least 20min of water and still not putting kids to bed...
2nd, you are staying home next year and I am going to get super sleazily dressed up (using the boots that have never left the bedroom) and gig, and C, I hate the farm and would much rather go back to working on cars in hell for Satan then have to endure another muffin baking chicken chasing fruitless wing clipping hay throwing water spilling kid fighting horse kicking sodding crappy day at the farm. AAAAND, i'm taking my anger out on you, cause you had fun and I did not!

And furthermore, I forgot to mention that the donkey escapes every morning and then screams at me to put her back in while I'm walking the kid down the lane to catch the bus. Imagine me trying to get the donkey not to follow us down the road. It would be mortifying to Austin if the donkey, three dogs,
(one the size of the donkey)and all the cats were waiting at the end of the lane when the bus came.
I am going to try and clip the chickens wings, again, today. I think I would rather attempt a clutch job than try and catch chickens, hold them and clip the insanely fast beating wings. I am so much better at fixing cars. Maybe I could just mix up a bunch of bondo and chuck it at the chickens! Flightless birds in less than 10 minutes! I'll add more hardener...

Ah yes, my darling, another restful sojourn at the farm. It's not like what you see on Looney Tunes, is it?

Oh, you can borrow MY boots but those "other" ones are staying under the bed.

Heh. Love the sign! Gotta say that every time her Porsche (or Lada or Mazda) starts she knows how much I appreciate her.
