Hi everyone
I have a few questions again....
1st off here is the new lines I got.
1st question, what is this plug for??? (it goes to that canister thing)
After I took of the intake I saw that plug and I did not disconnect it from anywhere so i am not sure what it is for?
I am not sure if it came un-plugged when I took the intake off or what?
anyone know what that is?
I am a newbie.
2nd question.
I removed the intake manifold to gain better access to the fuel lines I need to cut as well as these clips I see in there.
I need to know how to remove the Clips that hold the fuel line to the fire wall.???
I did not try to remove one yet because I didn't want to break it and thought i would ask here 1st.
(it's getting late and i figured i would save the actual repair for tomorrow (well later today its past 12AM now )
How do I remove these?
here is another one I took a pic of from under the car itself.
here are a few shots of my progress so far.
I love this little car I have been cleaning every little nuck and cranny.
thanks again for all the helpful tips !
as always I am very grateful |

Today I got the new fuel lines installed and the motor back together for the most part.
Tomorrow I hope my ignition tune up kit comes in the mail.
As well as my oil filter.
then I can fire this guy back up.
those clips I just had to pry off.
I also noticed my brake booster seal maybe leaking so I may need a new master cylinder. (the paint was all coming off under the master cylinder)
the brakes where not doing to good last I checked anway.
but the pads are low as well.
I'm waiting for them to arrive at Autozone, had to order them as well. |

Brian - your car has 34k miles on the clock, and it is 22+ years old.
Has the timing belt ever been changed?
The recommended interval is 30k or every 3 years.
If the timing belt breaks, your engine is toast, and the car is practically worthless.
Read my lips - Do it before you drive the car. _________________ 1987 Porsche 924S - track toy
