Judging by the angle of the corner piece, I'd say it's cracked already where the peg is inserted...

I took mine out after I found it was the cause of the water leak, it was sitting a little high and thus the sunroof wasnt sealing properly when it closed. I am not that bothered as we dont get too many sunny days here in Ireland.
