Looking at adding some magazines to our mailing address for the winter.
Anybody get Vintage Motorsports magazine for example? Worth it?
http://www.vintagemotorsport.com/

I find our local PCA club mag and the Panorama a bit boring. Any suggestions?

Classic Motorsports is the sister publication to Grassroots Motorsports, which is a pretty decent mag in its own right.

I have a subscription to both GRM and Classic motorsports, and they're great reads.

I'm a fan of 911 & Porsche World. I find it very interesting and will generally read it cover-to-cover after picking it up. And unlike so many of the other purported "Porsche" magazines (and despite its title), it doesn't focus solely on the 911 and sometimes includes stories about the 924, and nearly always either the 944, 968 or both.

Practical Classics is another I find interesting, although it rarely features Porsches.
In a similar vein, Classic & Sports Car is one of my fav's, too (and usually quite substantial).

And I'll throw it out there, even though it probably has zero relevance to you there in The 'States, I always thought Wheels, from little 'ol Oz, was one of the best written motoring mag's around. Motor is usually pretty good, too (although both focus pretty much solely on the new stuff, no classics there).

Of the 'standard' car news pubs Automobile Magazine is the one I read. They have great editorial. Design analysis of new and old cars by Robert Cumberford, Editorial pieces by a great writer (of my generation) Ezra Dyer, a classic auto to look into an why it's great (this month just happened to be the Lotus Europa) recent cars sold at auctions, and all the standard car news stuff.

Just was at Barnes and Noble reading the Porsche magazines and I came across 911 & Porsche World Vol. 197 and they had a nice, long write up on the 924S and how nice of a car it is and that not many know about it. I was shocked, first time seeing a 924S in a magazine that didn't make fun of it, lots of pictures. Also in the same magazine that had a section on repairing the exhaust on the 924S.
