Is this the first documented instance of a toofah running nitrous???? I can't remember any others...

I vaguely recall there was another dude who actually had video of his car doing a quater-mile on nitrous...
EDIT: Oh, it was a 924S, so, not the 2.0-litre, which I assume is what you meant. Disregard. _________________ '80 924 Turbo |

Probably the type of people busy doing things with their cars, instead of posting on the internet about them. I know I fall into this trap at times _________________ Stefan

Touché!
But I still find it remarkable that something of this nature was executed with very little if any interaction on the foremost toofah forum. Kudos to Lenkru for getting it done without the benefit of 924board!!! _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Thank you I love getting my hands dirty and always try to do things a bit diffrent. Just wish I had a bit more of a budget to work with.
I have a webpage that I try to keep updated. It is a bit behind at the moment but you can have a look it has lots of pics and descriptions of what I am doing. It also has a few of my trail and errors.

Let me know if there is anything you see I could have done better. I used the forums "How to" guide to make clear lense covers and they are coming out beautiful |

Lenkru, any documentation on how you adapted the T28? Stock exhaust manifold? Adapter plate, or what?
Also did you custom make those adjustable camber plates? _________________ [This Space For Rent] |

Sorry I did not make a drawing of the turbo adapter. I cut some flanges from steel and fabricated the bend from steel bends. I plan on changing it some time because it tends to start leaking when I run more than 1.2 Bar boost.
I designed the camber plates myself. I could get more neg. camber if I cut the turret tops but I didn't want to do that. I should still have the drawings if you are interested. |

behind every great project there are drawings / plans / etc..
now..ontopic: how do you put all that power down? i get grip problems at 1.0bar with 245cm wide tires...but i see you use narrow tires.
hmm..perhaps too short gearbox... _________________ Supercharger and EFI kits

So the turbo adapter flange is fairlk simple? I've wanted to do that for a while but was concerned with lowering the turbo and the drain point on the turbo compared to the sump. Any pictures of it on the engine stand?
I want to get rid of the weak ass k26 _________________ [This Space For Rent] |

Sorry I don't have any pictures of that side. The flanges was very easy but the correct placement was a big headache apart from the height it is also very close to the body. I did increase the size of the drain pipe but I will have to measure it to give you the size.
You could fit a T3 in if you wanted but it will have too much lag. The T28 works perfect for me. |
